Forensic Review

Forensic Review | The Rogue Protocol
Forensic Review · Two Offerings · One Standard

The document is not
the evidence.

Whether you produced it or received it.

AI-generated output is being treated as analysis. Documents are built to produce outcomes, not to report evidence. The failure mode is identical whether the document left your desk or arrived on it. The forensic standard is the same. The direction of the problem is different.

Every document that enters
or leaves this desk is hashed.

The SHA-256 standard governs every document that passes through this desk — in both directions. This is not a security protocol. It is a forensic discipline: a cryptographic record that fixes the state of a document at a defined moment in time, independently of any party’s account of what it said.

When a document arrives for review, it is hashed at intake. The document as received is fixed. It cannot be altered — not by the client, not by the desk — without the change being detectable. The intake hash is the record of what was submitted.

When the forensic brief is delivered, it is hashed at the point of delivery. The findings are fixed. The hash is registered and returned to the client. Both ends of the engagement have a cryptographic anchor. The integrity of the entire process is independently verifiable.

For output verified before it leaves — the note, the deck, the brief — the hash is registered at publication. For documents received and reviewed, the chain runs from intake to delivery. Neither end of the record can be quietly adjusted after the fact.

SHA-256 · Both Directions
Inbound · Output Is Not a Model
The forensic note and executive deck are SHA-256 hashed before publication. The registered hash allows any recipient to verify that what they received has not been altered since the desk produced it. The originator of the output cannot quietly revise the record.
Inbound · What You Were Sent
The document submitted for review is SHA-256 hashed at the moment of intake. The document as received is fixed. The forensic review is conducted against the document in the state it was submitted. No variation. No ambiguity about what was reviewed.
Outbound · Both Offerings
Every forensic brief and verified output leaving this desk is SHA-256 hashed at the point of delivery. The registered hash is returned to the client. The findings cannot be altered after delivery. The brief you receive is the brief that was produced.
